Jensik, a senior right-handed pitcher, won his first start of the season by throwing six shutout innings in a 5-0 Benedictine win over regional power Webster on Feb. 24. He allowed just one hit while striking out six and consistently touching over 90 miles per hour. Jensik added a quality start against Dubuque in his second outing of the week, leaving with the lead in a contest Benedictine eventually dropped in extra innings. He finished the week 1-0 with a 2.25 earned-run average and 11 strikeouts over 12 innings while limiting opponents to a .189 batting average.
