Bruno, a junior catcher, hit .500 as Benedictine posted a 3-1 mark in its first two days in Florida. She was 6-for-12 at the plate out of the leadoff spot with six runs scored, six RBIs, and six steals. Bruno also walked twice and was hit by a pitch, leading to a .563 on-base percentage and 1.063 OPS. She notched mulitple RBIs in three consecutive games and posted two multiple-hit performances. Defensively, she has been perfect behind the plate.
