Maranell, a sophomore, repeated as NACC Women's Field Athlete of the Meet after posting three event wins and a seventh-place finish. On Friday, she won the pentathlon (3,172 points) and triple jump (11.33 meters; 37-1 1/4). Maranell then added the win in the long jump (5.51m; 18-1) before tying for the fourth-best clearance (1.54m; 5-0 1/2) in the high jump. She was awarded seventh-place points once tiebreakers were employed.
