Velasco, a senior libero/outside hitter, posted a monster double-double to lead Marian past Illinois Tech in five sets. Velasco managed a match-high 22 digs against the Scarlet Hawks playing the first two sets at libero before playing in an all-around position the final three. It was his third performance of the season with at least 20 digs. Velasco also had 16 kills to cap off his second double-double of the season.
