Mason Levake (Lake Mills, Wis.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Football Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 16-22, 2024, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.
Offense --- Robby Michael, jr., QB, Lakeland University
Michael, a junior quarterback, accounted for 539 yards of total offense in Lakeland's 66-61 victory at Concordia Chicago. He was 17-of-36 through the air for 335 yards and four touchdowns (7, 45, 61, 86) against regular blitzing while also rushing for 204 yards and three scores (9, 17, 36). Michael hit Xaviar Thomas on the 86-yard game-winning TD strike with just 34 seconds remaining in the game. His 539 yards of total offense ranks second in NCAA Division III this season.
Defense --- Quintarius Davis, gr., DB, Aurora University
Davis, a senior defensive back, scored a pair of defensive touchdowns in Aurora's 49-0 shutout victory over St. Norbert. He returned an interception 30 yards for a score to put the Spartans up 14-0 in the first quarter, then later scooped up a fumble and returned it 60 yards for his second touchdown of the day. Davis also added two tackles, including a tackle for loss against the Green Knights. The first-quarter pick-six was Davis' second of the season.
Special Teams --- Mason Levake, Sophomore, P/K, St. Norbert College
Levake, a sophomore punter, averaged 46.3 yards per punt on 11 attempts for St. Norbert in a loss at Aurora. He had two punts in excess of 70 yards, including a season-best 73-yarder. Levake also placed three of his 11 punts inside the Aurora 20-yard line.
