NACC Football Weekly Honors to BenU's Florio and Stephens, CUW's Birch

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Benedictine University freshman Santino Florio (Oak Brook, Ill.) and sophomore Dino Stephens Jr. (Chicago, Ill.) and Concordia University Wisconsin junior Ben Birch (Grafton, Wis.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Football Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 6-12, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Defense --- Ben Birch, Jr., LB, Concordia University Wisconsin
Birch, a junior linebacker, recorded a career-best 23 tackles - including 13 solo stops - to lead Concordia Wisconsin to a 41-34 overtime victory over Lakeland in the Cheese Bowl. He also forced a Lakeland fumble and had 1.5 tackles for loss.

Offense --- Dino Stephens Jr., So., RB, Benedictine University
Stephens, a sophomore running back, racked up 210 yards on 18 carries with four touchdowns as Benedictine shut out Eureka, 56-0. His scored on runs of 5, 3, 1, and 4 yards, but also ripped off a 66-yard scamper on the second play from scrimmage to set up his first touchdown.

Special Teams --- Santino Florio, Fr., WR, Benedictine University
Florio, a freshman wide receiver, returned a punt 80 yards for a touchdown during the third quarter of Benedictine's 56-0 win over Eureka. It was his only punt return of the day.
