MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Benedictine University graduate student Patrick Mayfield (Elgin, Ill.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 27-Feb. 2, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Mayfield, a graduate guard, averaged 24.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 52.9 percent from the field and 61.1 percent from behind the arc as Benedictine posted a pair of victories last week. He logged a 25-point, 10-rebound double-double with five 3-pointers in a 75-73 win over Aurora on Jan. 29, then added 24 points behind 6-of-9 shooting from 3-point range and seven rebounds in a 90-76 victory over Lakeland to open February. Mayfield currently leads all NACC players in 3-point field goal percentage and 3-pointers made per game while sitting eighth in overall field-goal percentage and 10th in scoring.
