MILWAUKEE, Wis. --- Three Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) women's basketball student-athletes have been named to the 2025 D3hoops.com All-Region VIII Team, while a fourth was recognized as the region's top freshman.
St. Norbert College junior Taylor Thiry was named a first-team All-Region VIII selection, while Edgewood College senior Vivian Guerrero and Wisconsin Lutheran College sophomore Margie Stevens were selected to the all-region third team. Additionally, Aurora University's Krystyna Manzanarez was named this year's Region VIII Rookie of the Year.
Thiry averaged 15.8 points and 6.6 rebounds a game while shooting 63 percent from the floor. She led the conference in field goal percentage and in points scored with 412. Thiry was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Player of the Year, a first-team All-NACC selection and the conference's Player of the Week four times.
Guerrero, this year's NACC Defensive Player of the Year, led the conference in blocks (44; 1.7 bpg) and total rebounds (251; 9.7 rpg) while also posting team-high marks in scoring (11.8 ppg) and assists (62). She shot 46.4 percent from the floor, 67.7 percent at the line, and 31.3 percent from behind the arc. Guerrero totaled 11 double-doubles on the season. Guerrero eclipsed the 1,000-career rebound and point mark during the 2024-25 season, becoming just the third Eagle in program history to record both marks.
Stevens was selected First Team All-NACC for a second straight season after averaging 14.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. She led the Warriors in several statistical categories, including field goals (117), field goal attempts (381), free throws (92), free throw attempts (109), free throw percentage (84.4), points (417), and blocks (32). Stevens eclipsed double-digit scoring in 22 games, and scored at least 20 points six times. The NACC Tournament MVP poured in a career-high 29 points in a November 15 win over Ripon.
Manzanarez, the 2025 NACC Freshman of the Year, she played in all 25 games for Aurora this season, averaging 13.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while helping lead the Spartans to the No. 4 seed in the NACC Tournament. She ranked third amongst NACC players in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.27) and fourth in field goal percentage (.437). Manzanarez scored in double figures 19 times, scoring a season-high 23 points against both Beloit in mid-November and Benedictine in a NACC Tournament quarterfinal game.
