Concordia Wisconsin Returns to Oshkosh for NCAA Softball Regional

MEQUON, Wis. – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced the NCAA Division III Softball Tournament bracket on Monday morning. Concordia Wisconsin was selected for the 2025 64-team NCAA Division III Softball Championship after claiming the automatic bid for the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference on Sunday afternoon with a victory in the championship game over Benedictine.

Concordia Wisconsin claimed the automatic bid for the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference with the NACC Tournament title. Concordia also won the regular-season title at 19-5.

The Falcons will be traveling to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for the regional hosted by Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

CUW will open the regional tournament against Wisconsin-Oshkosh at 11:00 AM on Thursday.

The Titans are ranked 16th in the NFCA NCAA Division III rankings and have a 36-6 record. Oshkosh went 10-4 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics Conference and won the WIAC Tournament title with victories over Stevens Point and Platteville.

CUW opened the season at Wisconsin-Oshkosh on February 22. The Titans won both games with 8-0 and 10-3 victories.

Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Central (Iowa) are the other two teams in the region.

Wisconsin-Stevens Point enters the NCAA Tournament with a 28-12 record and went 6-8 in the WIAC.

Central (Iowa) is 26-11 on the year and went 9-7 in the American Rivers Conference. The Dutch lost to Nebraska Wesleyan in the ARC Championship Game.

The Falcons are the fourth seed in the regional. They are 31-11 on the year and went 19-5 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.

This is the Falcons' fifth trip to the NCAA Tournament. The Blue and White made appearances in the tournament in 2006, 2009, 2022, and 2023. The Falcons won the 2023 Regional Tournament and advanced to the Super Regionals, falling to the eventual national champion. CUW is 6-8 in the NCAA Tournament, with victories over St. Norbert in 2009, Roanoke and Case Western Reserve in 2022, and Wisconsin-Superior and Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2023.
