Lake Forest's Doctor, Frauhiger, and Sharp Earn IWLCA All-Region Accolades

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. --- The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced its 2025 all-region teams on Friday and three Lake Forest College student-athletes were listed.

Senior attacker Jenna Doctor and senior defender Savannah Frauhiger were named First Team All-Great Lakes Region while junior attacker Emma Sharp received Second Team honors.

Doctor shattered her own program record with 101 goals this spring and currently ranks third in the nation in that category and 10th with 118 points. She scored at least twice in all but one of the team's 20 games and struck five or more times in 13 contests. She was also named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Attacker of the Year. Doctor finished her career with a school record 260 goals and 302 points while adding 92 ground balls, 39 caused turnovers, and 45 draw controls to her final stat line as a Forester.

Frauhiger is now a two-time all-region selection, having been a second team choice a year ago. The 2025 NACC Defender of the Year's 39 caused turnovers were just one shy of the team lead as Lake Forest ranks third in the country in that category as a team. She is also second on the squad with 54 ground balls. Frauhiger's 147 ground balls over the last four seasons are the second-highest career total in program history while her 83 caused turnovers ranks third.

Just one player in the nation has more than Sharp's 79 assists this season and her 131 points ranks fourth in the country. The First Team All-NACC selection set up at least one Lake Forest goal in 19 of 20 games and scored herself in 17 of those contests. She set single-season team records for points and assists and will enter her final season at the College needing just five goals to reach 100 for her career and six assists to match the school record of 117.

The Foresters completed the 2025 season with an overall record of 15-5, captured the NACC regular season and conference tournament titles in their first year in the league, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time.
