(naccsports.org) --- Rockford University junior Te Simpson (Fairfield, Texas ) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 12-18, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Simpson, a junior center, recorded a pair of double-doubles, pushing her season total to nine. She posted 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting and pulled down 11 rebounds in a 69-44 loss at Dominican, then followed it up with 18 points and 16 rebounds in a 60-48 victory over Marian.
