WLC Headed To UW-Oshkosh, Draws Saint Mary’s (Minn.) In NCAA Tournament First Round

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Following Monday's unveiling of the 64-team field on NCAA.com, Wisconsin Lutheran College learned it will travel to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for the opening weekend of the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship Tournament.

The Warriors (23-5) will face Saint Mary's (Minn.) at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, March 6, on the campus of regional host and fifth-ranked UW-Oshkosh. In the other first round matchup, Webster (19-8) will take on the Titans (24-3) at 7:15 p.m. Friday. The two winners will meet in the second round on Saturday at 7:15 p.m., with a trip to the Sweet 16 on the line.

WLC earned the automatic bid out of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference after capturing the NACC Tournament title on Sunday. The conference championship secured the Warriors' third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and the 14th overall in program history.

Saint Mary's (20-7) received an at-large berth after finishing fourth in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season standings. The Cardinals are making their fourth NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2014.
