CSC Announces Academic All-District Baseball, Softball Teams

MILWAUKEE, Wis. --- The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball and Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

A total of 83 student-athletes - 46 softball players and 37 baseball players - representing 13 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) schools were recognized.

Edgewood University had the maximum 10 student-athletes recognized - five each for softball and baseball. Aurora University and Rockford University both had nine student-athletes (4 softball, 5 baseball) honored, while Lakeland University (5/3) had eight, Benedictine Univeristy (5/2) and Milwaukee School of Engineering (3/4) had seven apiece, and Concordia University Wisconsin (5/1), Marian University (3/3), and St. Norbert College (5/1) all had six. 

Dominican University (5/0), Illinois Institute of Technology (0/4), Concordia University Chicago (0/3), and Wisconsin Lutheran College (2/1) also had individuals recognized.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.

Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 16 (softball) and June 23 (baseball).

The Division III CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division III Academic All-America® program.
