NORMAN, Okla. --- Aurora University men's golf head coach Justin Wyeth earned significant national honors today when the NCAA Division III 2026 Dave Williams Award presented by Golf Pride Grips was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The Williams Award honors the national coach of the year in NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, NJCAA Division I, and NJCAA Division II men's golf.
 
Wyeth was selected as the NCAA Division III Region VI Coach of the Year for a second consecutive season after he guided the Spartans to a tremendous 2025-2026 season which wrapped up with the AU men finishing third at the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships.

In a season that included the program's ninth consecutive NACC Championship, five tournament wins and two runner-up finishes Ranked third via Scoreboard powered by Clippd, Aurora was led on the course by a trio of PING All-Region VI golfers - NACC individual champion Jackson Hulsey, Mattias Morris, and Christian Wakeford. The 10-time NACC Coaching Staff of the Year leader and 2022 and 2025 Golf Pride Grips Region VI Coach of the Year, Wyeth was a Dave Williams Award presented by Golf Pride Grips finalist for the second time.
