Romeo Rosado Named NACC Coordinator of Softball Umpires

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) has announced the appointment of Romeo Rosado as the conference's next Coordinator of Softball Umpires. He replaces the retiring Art Hill, who served the NACC for the last 15 years.

With more than 25 years of experience across all levels of the NCAA, Rosado brings a wide-ranging background in officiating, evaluation, assigning and administration. He currently serves as a subassignor for both the Horizon League and the SUNYAC, and previously worked with all of Hill’s conferences, including the NACC, Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC), and the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW).

Rosado is committed to building strong partnerships with administrators, athletic directors, coaches, and officials throughout the NACC. His priorities include expanding umpire development opportunities through on-field evaluations, classroom and virtual instruction, and in-person training sessions. The conference looks forward to the continued growth of its officiating program under his leadership.

Hill has served as NACC Coordinator of Softball Umpires with distinction since 2011, and the conference deeply appreciates the excellence, professionalism, and dedication he has brought to our softball community. We extend our sincere gratitude for his outstanding contributions and wish him the very best as he enters the next chapter of his retirement.
