MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Milwaukee School of Engineering senior Sam McPeak (Dublin, Ohio) and St. Norbert College sophomore Kayla Wesaw (Sheboygan, Wis.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Cross Country Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 1-6, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Men --- Sam McPeak, Sr., Milwaukee School of Engineering
McPeak, a senior, finished fifth at the Tom Barry Invitational hosted by St. Norbert College. He covered the 6,000-meter course in 19:20.0 to lead the Raiders to a runner-up team finish overall. MSOE was the top NCAA Division III team at the event.

Women --- Kayla Wesaw, So., St. Norbert College
Wesaw, a sophomore, placed sixth overall at the St. Norbert Tom Barry Invitational, crossing the finish line with a time of 19:57.9. She had the best finish among NACC runners in the race.
