Podcast: "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion"
“What do the words “diversity,” “equity,” and “inclusion” mean and what do they mean to you?
With DEI being so much a part of the college landscape, and throughout society, it’s important to get perspective about definition, belonging, and positive action. During this 20 minute podcast with NCAA leaders, the student-athletes of the NACC will hear words of encouragement and advice, all designed specifically for our conference. Further, they will have a better understanding as to how they can engage and be active in the conversations about DEI as they pursue their future goals.”

Podcast: "Conflict - Recognizing and Resolving"
Conflict can be defined as "a disagreement about feelings or ideas." The human condition is subject to conflict all of the time. How to recognize conflict and how to deal with conflict is a constant challenge for everyone, especially student-athletes. In a podcast produced exclusively for student-athletes in the NACC, "Conflict - Recognizing and Resolving" will offer you some great perspective and solutions as you encounter and deal with conflict.
Conflict is a way of life. As a student-athlete, you are familiar with growing up and now during that transition to the adult you. How to recognize conflict and how to resolve conflict is essential.
One of our own coaches in the NACC, Bethany Brewster, Edgewood College, is a licensed mental health professional. She understands the variables that factor into conflict and, in this podcast, not only will she address those variables, she'll offer some great tips about getting through them.
This is a solid 22-minute listen that will provide SAAC advisors and student leaders a foundation for future discussions
