Trudo led the Spartans to the 2009 NAC Men's Basketball Tournament Championship and AU's third consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. On the week in the tournament, Trudo averaged 27.3 points (23-of-45 from the field), 5.0 rebounds and was 28-of-31 from the free throw line on the week (90.3%). Trudo had a career-high 33 points in AU's 74-72 win over top seeded Benedictine University in the semifinals and followed that performance up with 27 points in the NAC Tournament Final against Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Bailey led the team in scoring both games last week as Benedictine claimed the Northern Athletics Conference South Division title with the Eagles' 74-71 win over rival Aurora University and then the No. 1-seed for this week's NAC Tournament with an 78-64 victory over NAC North champ Edgewood College in Saturday's "NAC Challenge Game". The shooting guard hit nearly 54 percent (14-of-26) from the field, averaging 25.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.

Plath averaged 26 points per game in leading Wisconsin Lutheran College to a pair of victories this past week. In Tuesday’s 97-90 win at Dominican University, Plath made a career-high eight three-pointers and scored a game-high 25 points. In an 84-71 home win over Marian University on Saturday, Plath made seven three-pointers and poured in a team-high 27 points. For the week, he shot 59 percent (17-for-29) from the floor, including 63 percent (15-for-24) from three-point range. Plath has scored at least 20 points in six-straight games.

Wisniewski averaged 28 points per game last week for the Eagles while shooting nearly 70 percent from the field. The freshman reached a career-high 29 points on 8-of-13 from the field in a loss to Marian University, and then went 10-of-13 from the field to score 27 points in leading the Eagles to an overtime win over NAC South leader MSOE. Wisniewski shot over 50 percent from 3-point range and nearly 75 percent from the free throw line as well.

On the week, Bailey averaged 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, shooting nearly 60 percent from the floor.

Taylor was a dominant force in Rockford's victories at Edgewood College and against Dominican University. Taylor scored a game-high 24 points against Edgewood on Wednesday. In Saturday's win over Dominican, Taylor recorded the NAC's second 40 point game, reaching the mark on a buzzer-beating 12-footer for the overtime victory. Taylor shot 61 percent from the floor and 73 percent from the free throw line, while playing 82 of 85 possible minutes, including all 45 minutes in the overtime win.

Schwarz poured in a career-high 37 points and nine rebounds as Lakeland erased a 13-point second half deficit to defeat Concordia University Chicago 84-79 on Saturday, Dec. 13. The rookie forward shot 13-of-19 from the field and 11-of-13 from the free throw line in the victory.

Trudo averaged 31.0 points in the Spartans wins over Wisconsin Lutheran College (106-91) and Edgewood College (103-87). In AU's win over Wisconsin Lutheran, he scored a career high 32 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field and five-of-eight from 3-point range. In AU's win over Edgewood, he tallied 30 points, going 16-of-16 from the free-throw line. He also moved himself 48 points shy of entering AU's 1,000 point club. This is the second consecutive week Trudo has been honored as NAC Student-Athlete of the Week.

In the tourney, AU won their first game of the year (84-73 over Miami-Middletown) and took No. 1 ranked and defending national champion, Washington University, to overtime before losing 97-89. Trudo scored 25 points in both games and shot 17-of-25 from the field and 8-of-10 from three-point range.
