Chad Zeman, Rockford College

Zeman placed first in the mile run at the Knox College Invitational breaking the school record with a time of 4:28.93. Zeman defeated runners from Division I and II schools. Zeman also helped the Regents to a second place finish in the distance medley relay as he ran the final mile leg in 4:35.

Fran Sikorski, Aurora University

Sikorski set two school records at the Chicagoland Indoor Championship hosted by Lewis University. Sikorski placed sixth in the mile run with a time of 5:36.93, and recorded her record time in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:32.83.

Sroka broke his own school record in the shot put with a throw of 15.39m (50'6") at the Dick Pond Invitational hosted by Lewis University. He was only six inches shy of a provisional qualifying mark.
Matt Wilkin, Benedictine University

Wilkin broke his own school record, which he just set last month, in the weight throw with a toss of 15.48m (50'9.5") at the Dick Pond Invitational. Wilkin placed sixth overall, with the only competitors ahead of him being from NCAA Division I schools.

Sikorski set the school record in the 3000 meter run with a time of 11:09.76 at the Dick Pond Invitational hosted by Lewis University. Sikorski placed seventh overall in the event, and was third among Division III athletes.

Geoff Gipson, Concordia University Chicago

Gipson helped the Cougar men to a ninth place finish (first among NAC schools) out of 16 teams at the Tadd Metzger Invitational at Carthage College last Saturday. Gipson won the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.08 seconds. The event had 44 entrants, and he beat out the second-place finisher by a thousandth of a second. He also placed fifth in the 55 meter dash (6.71) and accounted for 14 of Concordia's 24 team points.

Foss broke the school record in the shot put (11.57 meters) and placed second at the Tadd Metzger Invitational at Carthage College on Saturday. Foss also set a personal record in the weight throw with a distance of 11.83 meters to place her fifth. She was the top Division III thrower in the two events as she followed only a Marquette University student-athlete in the shot put, and Marquette and University of Illinois-Chicago student-athletes in the weight throw. The Falcons placed sixth in the event.

Johnson claimed three first-place honors at the Illinois College 'Early Bird' meet last Saturday. Johnson won the long jump (21'8"), the triple jump (44'2") and was a member of the 4x200 relay team helping Falcons to a fourth place finish.

Foss set a school record in the shot put with a throw of 11.11 meters, placing ninth at the Illinois College 'Early Bird' meet last Saturday. She also recorded a personal best in the weight throw with a throw if 11.60 meters. The Falcon women finished fifth at the event.

Matt Wilkin, Benedictine University

Wilkin started off the 2007 season on a high note be setting a school record in the 35-pound weight throw at the Private College Indoor Championship hosted by Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis. Wilkin's heave of 50'7.5" (15.43m) bester the previous record of 50'2" set by Nathan Palmer in 2004. His effort was good enough for a second place finish in the event. Wilkin also placed 20th out of 44 competitors in the shot put (11.55m). The Eagles finished 9th out of 13 teams at the event.

Corbin finished third place in the long jump with a distance of 16'4" (5.01m) at the Private College Indoor Championship hosted by Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis. The Falcons finished sixth in the event out of 15 teams

Lorenzen finished second in the men's one mile run at the University of Wisconsin's Badger Track Classic on Saturday with a time of 4:31.09, less than a half-second behind UW-Platteville's Nathan Warnberg. Lorenzen claimed another top two finish in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 9:04.18, less than six seconds behind leader Ted Lillie of UW-Eau Claire.

Dillett recorded a time a 5:54.79 in the one mile run at the University of Wisconsin's Badger Track Classic last Saturday in Madison. She finished 13th in the event, though four of the top ten runners included athletes from Division I schools.
