MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Concordia University Wisconsin junior LaNea Bartel (Kewaunee, Wis.) and senior Ryan Teigen (Fargo, N.D.) have been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Cross Country Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 2-8, 2019, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
NACC Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week
LaNea Bartel, Concordia University Wisconsin
Bartel posted a career-best 6-kilometer time of 25:33.6 while leading CUW to a sixth-place team finish at the Ken Weidt Invitational. She was the fastest NACC runner in the 111-runner field.
NACC Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week
Ryan Teigen, Concordia University Wisconsin
Teigen placed 10th overall out of 75 runners at the CUW Ken Weidt Invitational, covering the 8-kilometer course in 27:58.6. He was the top NACC finisher at the event and led the Falcons to a fifth-place team finish.
