MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Marian University freshman Yinan Lu (Qindao, China) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 25-Oct. 1, 2023, as selected by the league's athletics communcations professionals.

This is the third NACC weekly honor this season for Lu.

Lu, a freshman, sits atop the individual leaderboard after the first two rounds of the NACC Championship. Lu was the only student-athlete to break 80 in both rounds at Aldeen Golf Course in Rockford, Illinois. She carded a program-record low round of 3-over 75 in Saturday's first round, then backed it up with a 78 on Sunday. She had a birdie in each round while leading Marian to second place in the team standings after 36 of 72 holes.
