MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Forty-two student-athletes representing eight Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) football programs have been named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Football teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC, formerly CoSIDA).
The award recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and the NAIA.
Rockford University and St. Norbert College led all NACC programs with eight honorees apiece, while Aurora University had six and Benedictine University, Concordia University Chicago, and Wisconsin Lutheran College had five each. Concordia University Wisconsin had three selections and Lakeland University two.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced January 28, 2025.
The Division III CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division III Academic All-America® program.
