Nick Irion (Lombard, Ill.) and
Santino Florio (Oak Brook, Ill.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Football Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Nov. 3-9, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.
Defense --- Nick Irion, Fr., LB, Benedictine University
Irion, a freshman linebacker, returned an interception 42 yards for a touchdown as Benedictine received contributions from all facets in a 38-7 win over Concordia Chicago. He also posted a pair of tackles and a pass break-up.
Offense --- TJ Ramsey, Jr., RB, Aurora University
Ramsey, a junior running back, had 21 carries for 121 yards and three touchdowns in a 37-14 Aurora win over St. Norbert. He averaged 5.8 yards per carry while also adding four catches for 45 yards.
Special Teams --- Santino Florio, Fr., WR, Benedictine University
Florio, a freshman wide receiver, accumulated nearly 200 all-purpose yards as Benedictine bested Concordia Chicago, 38-7. CUC avoided kicking to Florio most of the day after he returned a punt 43 yards for a touchdown and a kickoff 65 yards to set up a short field. He also added 57 yards rushing and 11 yards receiving.
