Illinois Tech's Donaldson, MSOE's Rusch Named NACC Women's Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Illinois Institute of Technology junior Lilia Donaldson (Boulder, Colo.) and Milwaukee School of Engineering freshman Alyssa Rusch (Menasha, Wis.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 27-Nov. 2, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Defense --- Lilia Donaldson, Jr., MB, Illinois Institute of Technology
Donaldson, a junior middle blocker, had a huge week defensively at the net for Illinois Tech, racking up 14 total blocks and a 2.00 blocks per set average as the Scarlet Hawks split a pair of conference matches. Donaldson had a solo block and six block assists in the Scarlet Hawks' 3-2 victory over Benedictine on Oct. 29. She followed that up with seven block assists in a 3-0 loss at St. Norbert on Nov. 1. Donaldson now sits fourth in the NACC in blocks per set at 0.94.

Offense --- Alyssa Rusch, Fr., MB/RS, Milwaukee School of Engineering
Rusch, a freshman middle blocker, recorded double-digit figures in kills in a pair of MSOE victories last week. She tallied 18 kills and a service ace while hitting .552 (18-2-29) in a five-set win over Marian, then added 10 kills in a sweep of Concordia Chicago.
