MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) has announced its major award winners and all-conference team for the 2025 women's tennis season.

Milwaukee School of Engineering's Ana Kamiyama swept the NACC's major student-athlete honors, being named both NACC Player of the Year and NACC Freshman of the Year.

Additionally, St. Norbert College under the direction of John Steckart was recognized as the NACC Coaching Staff of the Year.

NACC Player of the Year & NACC Freshman of the Year --- Ana Kamiyama, Milwaukee School of Engineering
Kamiyama posted a 14-9 record overall, including an 8-3 mark in singles play. She posted a perfect 7-0 singles record against NACC competition, all at the No. 1 position, highlighted by a 1-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-7) win over Illinois Tech's Martyna Kalinowska.

Kamiyama paired with fellow freshman Lana Brooks to post a 6-6 mark in doubles, again all at the No. 1 position. The pair went 6-1 in conference play.

Kamiyama is the second MSOE player to be named NACC Player of the Year (Martina Fialova, 2000) and the first to be named NACC Freshman of the Year.

NACC Coaching Staff of the Year --- St. Norbert College (John Steckart, head coach)
The Green Knights, led by fifth-year head coach John Steckart, went 7-3 overall this fall and finished second in the conference with a 7-1 mark. The second-place finish in the league standings is the best finish for St. Norbert since joining the NACC in 2021.

This is the first time Steckart or a Steckart-led staff has been recognized by the league's head coaches.
