GREENSBORO, N.C. – The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and ATEC Sports have announced the 2025 NCAA Division III Regional Coaches of the Year. Milwaukee School of Engineering first-year head coach
Adrian Santiago has been named Region VIII Coach of the Year.
Santiago helped lead the Raiders to their winningest season in program history, going 29-18 and 18-6 in conference play. Winning the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) regular-season title for the second season in a row, MSOE went through the conference tournament with ease, defeating Marian, 4-3, in the opening game before posting consecutive victories over Edgewood (10-6, 10-0) to claim a second conference tournament title in four years.
MSOE dropped its regional opener to top-seeded Webster before edging Rhodes, 4-3, to claim the program's first NCAA victory. The Raiders then upended Webster by the same 4-3 score to advance to the regional final where they fell to Belhaven by a 7-4 count.
The Raiders had a record nine all-conference players, along with Santiago and staff earning coaching staff of the year. Santiago brought an aggressive brand of baseball on the base paths, leading NCAA Division III in stolen bases with 205, including a 21 stolen base performance as a team against North Park on April 21.
