Tiburcio, a junior goalkeeper, logged 15 saves as Benedictine posted a pair of victories. He stopped six shots in a 2-1 win at Aurora to wrap the regular season, then added nine saves while recording a blank sheet as the fifth-seeded Eagles defeated fourth-seeded Illinois Tech, 2-0, in a NACC Tournament quarterfinal match.
Offense --- Jacob Skupien, Fr., M, Benedictine University
Skupien, a freshman midfielder, scored both of Benedictine's goals as the Eagles wrapped up the regular season with a 2-1 at rival Aurora on Oct. 28. He also helped set up Benedictine's second goal in a 2-0 NACC Tournament quarterfinal win at Illinois Tech by providing the centering pass into the box for Krystof Cicha. Cicha took Skupien's pass and evaded a couple of Illinois Tech defenders before launching the ball into the upper right corner of the goal.
