Seeds Hold in NACC Women's Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- All four higher seeds emerged victorious Wednesday in the quarterfinal round of the 2026 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Basketball Tournament.

Top-seeded Wisconsin Lutheran College defeated No. 8-seed Lakeland University, 80-49, No. 4 Milwaukee School of Engineering topped No. 5 Benedictine University, 70-46, No. 3 Aurora University sidelined No. 6 Edgewood University, 81-70, and No. 2-seed St. Norbert College stopped No. 7-seed Concordia University Wisconsin, 60-42.

Wisconsin Lutheran will host MSOE in one of Friday evening's semifinal matches, while St. Norbert welcomes Aurora in the other. Friday's winners will meet Sunday afternoonn for the tournament title.

No. 1 Wisconsin Lutheran def. No. 8 Lakeland, 80-49
Wisconsin Lutheran limited Lakeland to nine points in each of the first three quarters, building a 70-27 lead before the Muskies were able to cut into the deficit in the final stanza. The Warriors (21-6) scored 23 consecutive points over a period of over nine minutes spanning the first and second quartters.

Abby Cole posted game-highs with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals in less than 26 minues of play to lead WLC. Maddie Ratzow added 11 points and Madeline Leffel 10, both off the bench.

A.T. Bartlett and Lauryn Johnson scored 12 points apiece to lead Lakeland (11-15).

No. 4 MSOE def. No. 5 Benedictine, 70-46
MSOE shot 52.9 percent (27-of-51) and held a commanding 44-18 rebounding advantage en route to a 70-46 win over Benedictine.

Lana Kerley finished with a 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Raiders (18-6). Halena Hill added 17 points and seven rebounds, while Dani Mendez had 12 points and Mahima Chokshi has 11.

Hailey Bachmann scored nine points to lead Benedictine (17-9).

No. 3 Aurora def. No. 6 Edgewood, 81-70
Aurora outscored Edgewood, 28-15, in the second quarter to turn a one-point lead after one quarter into a 14-point halftime advantage. The Spartans (21-6) built the lead to 22 points early in the fourth quarter, but the Eagles (12-14) used a 9-0 run down the stretch to cut the final defict in half.

All five Aurora starters finished in double figures, accounting for 78 of the Spartans' 81 points. Kylie Fischbach and Krystyna Manzanarez scored 17 points apiece, while Alina Anderson chipped in with 16 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Dani Antoine and Riley Doggett added 14 points each. Aurora finished with 15 3-pointers in the contest.

Kate Gunderson scored a game-high 20 points to lead Edgewood, while Laci Lindsey and Grace Vesperman added 13 points apiece.

Edgewood held a 46-38 advantage on the boards, but committed 22 turnovers to Aurora's 14.

No. 2 St. Norbert def. No. 7 Concordia Wisconsin, 60-42
St. Norbert (17-7) broke the game open with an 18-0 run midway through the second half. Rose Hahn scored a game-high 14 points to lead three Green Knights in double figures. Taylor Thiry added 12 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, while Marnie Kahl had 10 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Isabela Gunderson led Concordia Wisconsin (9-16) with 12 points.

The hosts held a 42-32 advantage on the boards and a 42-12 edge in points in the paint.
