Kamdan Johnson (women's track) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Indoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Jan. 26-Feb. 1, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.
This is the third NACC weekly honor this season for both Johnson and Klitzke and the second for Alderman.
Men's Field --- Jacob Klitzke, Jr., St. Norbert College
Klitzke, a junior from Shiocton, Wisconsin, once again set new St. Norbert program records in the weight throw and short put. At the UW-Parkside Lake Michigan Open, he won the shot put (17.04 meters; 55-11) and the weight throw (17.34m; 56-10 3/4). Klitzke's mark in the shot put currently ranks eighth-best in NCAA Division III this season.
Men's Track --- Carson Owens, Fr., Illinois Institute of Technology
Owens, a freshman from Chicago, Illinois, broke the Illinois Tech indoor program record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.72 at the Chicago Collegiate Invitational at Gately Park. Owens placed fourth in the event, and now has the top indoor 400-meter time in the NACC.
Women's Field --- Jessa Alderman, Sr., Milwaukee School of Engineering
Alderman, a senior from Janesville, Wisconsin, won the shot put at the Windy City Rumble with a throw of 13.81 meters (45-3 3/4) - just one centimeter off her personal best. The effort currently ranks seventh on the NCAA Division III performance list. She also added a second-place finish in the weight throw (15.97m; 52-4 3/4).
Women's Track --- Kamdan Johnson, Fr., St. Norbert College
Johnson, a freshman from Florence, Wisconsin, broke the NACC record in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing second at the UW-Whitewater Leonard "Squig" Converse Invitational with a time of 9.04 seconds. Johnson broke the mark of 9.05 seconds set by Concordia Chicago's Eve Shelton at the 2025 NACC Championships.
