INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Illinois Institute of Technology has been selected to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship and will travel to Granville, Ohio, to begin championship play.
Illinois Tech (14-5) earned the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's automatic berth with a 4-3 victory of Milwaukee School of Engineering in Sunday's NACC Tournament final. The Scarlet Hawks will face Carthage College in an opening-round matchup on the campus of Denison University on Friday, May 8.
The Firebirds (22-3) won the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's automatic berth with a 4-1 win over North Central College.
Illinois Tech is making its sixth appearance in seven years and is 3-5 all-time in the NCAA Tournament.
Carthage is in the field for the 12th time overall and the first time since 2023.
The Illinois Tech-Carthage winner will face regional host Denison University (25-2) on Saturday, May 9.
