INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Illinois Institute of Technology has been selected for the field of the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship and will travel to Minnesota for regional play.
The Scarlet Hawks (11-9), which defeated Edgewood University, 4-2, on Sunday to capture the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Tennis Tournament title, will face Luther College (15-8) in a first-round match at the Swanson Tennis Center on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.
Luther earned the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after defeating Coe College, 4-3, to claim the program's 12th title in program history.
The winner will face University of Chicago (16-4) in the second round.
University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (20-2) will face the University of Wisconsin-Superior (19-7) in the other first-round match, with the winner to face regional host Gustavus Adolphus (29-5).
The NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship first, second, and third rounds will take place on campus sites the weekend of May 8-10. The final site is Champions Tennis Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee and will be contested May 18-26.
