MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Edgewood College junior Evelyn Taylor (Aurora, Ill.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 7-13, 2024, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

This is the third NACC weekly honor this season for Taylor. It is also the final NACC women's tennis weekly honor for the 2024 season.

Taylor, a junior, wrapped up her 2024 NACC season with a perfect record in conference play. She went 4-0 on the weekend to lead her team to the regular-season NACC Championship. Taylor opened the Illinois Tech match on Oct. 11 with a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles with partner Marissa Light. Taylor wrapped up the evening with a 6-3, 1-6, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles. Taylor added a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles on Oct. 12 versus Concordia Chicago. She concluded her regular season conference action with a 6-1, 1-6, 1-0 (3) win at No. 1 singles.
