Defense --- Gabriella Baltes, Sr., D, Illinois Institute of Technology
Baltes, a senior defender, continued to lead the Scarlet Hawks' defensive play last week, helping to limit opponents to only four shots and no goals as the Hawks went 2-0 in NACC play. Baltes also added a goal in each match. On Wednesday at Benedictine, Baltes helped limit the Eagles to only one shot, while scoring the team's second goal in the 13th minute off a free-kick scramble at the goal mouth in the Hawks' 5-0 victory. On Saturday in their home match against Marian, Baltes and the defense allowed only three shots, and Baltes scored the team's fourth goal in the 28th minute off a corner kick in the team's eventual 7-0 win over the Sabres. Baltes now has five goals on the season for 10 points, and has led the Hawks' defense in shutting out all NACC opponents and allowing only two goals against all season.
Offense --- Greta Blau, Sr., F, Edgewood University
Blau, a senior forward, recorded a hat trick to lift Edgewood to a 3-0 victory at Concordia Wisconsin. She took seven shots in the contest, putting five on target.
