Faith Papazoglou (Commack, N.Y.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 22-28, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.
Defense --- Gianna Stanek, So., GK, Dominican University
Stanek, a sophomore goalkeeper, played in two of Dominican's three fixtures last week, recording 10 saves while posting a pair of clean sheets. She had nine stops as the Stars opened the week with a 1-0 road victory at Illinois Wesleyan Sept. 22. After sitting out of Dominican's 7-0 win over Rockford two days later, Stanek returned to the pitch at St. Norbert on Sept. 27 and stopped the only shot on goal she faced as the Stars emerged with a 2-0 victory.
Offense --- Faith Papazoglou, Sr., MF/F, Milwaukee School of Engineering
Papazoglou, a midfielder/forward, recorded eight points as the Raiders swept a pair of home NACC contests. The senior captain put up two goals and an assist on three shots in a 3-1 victory over Edgewood. She then added a goal and an assist in the Raiders' 5-1 win over Aurora.
