MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Illinois Institute of Technology freshman Mateo Secaira (San José, Costa Rica) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 27-Nov. 2, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

This is Secaira's third NACC weekly honor this season. There were no nominees for this week's defensive honor.

Offense --- Mateo Secaira, Fr., F, Illinois Institute of Technology
Secaira, a freshman forward, posted 14 points in just two contests for the Scarlet Hawks. He closed out the regular season with five goals in a 9-1 win over Rockford Oct. 29. Secaira then contributed to all three goals in Illinois Tech's 3-0 upset win over third-seeded St. Norbert in the NACC Tournament quarterfinals, finishing with a goal and two assists on four shots. The win over the Green Knights marked the program's first victory in NACC Tournament play.
