INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Aurora University Spartan men's volleyball program will travel to Carthage College in the 2025 NCAA Division III Tournament on Friday, April 18 with opening serve at 4:00 p.m. in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The Spartans earned an automatic selection into the 19-team field. AU, 26-4 on the season, won the regular season and tournament title in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and will make the first appearance in the NCAA tournament in the eighth season of the program.
Carthage College (22-3) earned the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) championship to earn their spot in the NCAA field.
The teams have met eight times previously with the last contest coming on March 15 of this season at AU. AU fell to Carthage 3-1 (17-25, 25-22, 17-25, 19-25). AU is 0-8 against the Firebirds all-time.
The winner between the Spartans and Firebirds will advance to play the winner of the game between Springfield College (22-4) and the University of Mount Union (20-8) in a national quarterfinal on Saturday, April 19 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The winner of the weekend pod will earn a spot in the national semifinals. The national semifinals will take place at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.
