MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Edgewood University senior Maverick Van Laanen (Green Bay, Wis.) and Marian University sophomore Brayden Johnson (Belvidere, Ill.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 22-28, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Defense --- Maverick Van Laanen, Sr., GK, Edgewood University
Van Laanen, a senior goalkeeper, posted 10 saves in a 2-1 victory over MSOE on Sept. 24. He impressed in the second half of the contest with six saves to lift the Eagles to the victory.

Offense --- Brayden Johnson, So., F, Marian University
Johnson, a sophomore forward, had a big week to lead Marian past Lakeland and Rockford in NACC play. Johnson opened the week with an assist against Lakeland in a 2-0 win. He then the first hat trick of his career to lead the Sabres past Rockford, 5-0.
