MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Edgewood University Senior Shannon Rusch (Edgerton, Wis.) and Milwaukee School of Engineering Junior Emma Schattschneider (Caledonia, Wis.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 5-11, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

This is the second consecutive NACC weekly honor for Rusch.

Defense --- Shannon Rusch, Sr., OH, Edgewood University
Rusch, a senior outside hitter, averaged 6.5 digs per set across a pair of matches. She recorded 36 digs in a five-set loss at MSOE Oct. 8, then added three more in just one set as Edgewood swept Dominican.

Offense --- Emma Schattschneider, Jr., OH, Milwaukee School of Engineering
Schattschneider, a junior outside hitter, racked up 27 kills as MSOE posted a pair of NACC victories. She started off the week with nine kills, two assists, and an ace in a five-set win over conference favorite Edgewood. Schattschneider then followed that up with 17 kills and seven aces - including five in one set - as the Raiders swept Concordia Wisconsin.
