NACC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards to Aurora's Brown, CUW's Cardinale

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Aurora University sophomore Sarah Brown (Louisville, Ky.) and Concordia University Wisconsin senior Katelyn Cardinale (Mount Laurel, N.J.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of March 9-15, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

This is the second NACC weekly award for Cardinale.

Defense --- Sarah Brown, So., Def., Aurora University
Brown, a sophomore defender, had a strong performance on the Spartans' Pacific Northwest trip, collecting six caused turnovers, four groundballs and two draw controls as Aurora went 1-1 during the week. In the loss to Lewis and Clark, Brown stood out with five caused turnovers and two ground balls.

Offense --- Katelyn Cardinale, Sr., A, Concordia University Wisconsin
Cardinale, a senior attack, scored a total of 10 goals and assisted on two others in contests against UW-Stevens Point and UW-Stout. She had five goals and two assists on 13 shots against the Pointers with seven draw controls. Against UW-Stout, Cardinale had five goals, four draw controls, and three ground balls.
