Nolan O'Malley (Chicago, Ill.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Feb. 23-March 1, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.
This is the second consecutive NACC weekly honor for Whalon.
Defense --- Nolan O'Malley, So., G, Concordia University Wisconsin
O'Malley, a sophomore goalkeeper, posted a .811 save percentage while averaging just 3.5 goals against as the Falcons posted victories over North Central (Ill.) and Washington & Jefferson (Pa.). He made 21 saves and had one ground ball in a 13-4 win over North Central, then made nine saves in a 22-3 win over the Presidents.
Offense --- Bryce Petersen, Jr., A, Concordia University Wisconsin
Petersen, a junior attack, averaged 4.0 goals and 1.0 assist per match last week as the Falcons posted wins over North Central (Ill.) and Washington & Jefferson (Pa.). He scored three goals on 13 shots in the 13-4 win over the Cardinals, then added five goals and two assists on eight shots in a 22-3 win over the Presidents.
Specialist --- Jack Whalon, Sr., FO, Benedictine University
Whalon, a senior faceoff specialist, won 13 of 14 faceoffs to help Benedictine move to 3-0 with a 15-6 win over Carroll (Wis.). He picked up 14 ground balls and registered an assist in the victory.
