MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Aurora University junior Asher Deputy (South Jordan, Utah) and sophomore Griffin Joas (Eagan, Minn.) and Benedictine University senior Jack Whalon (Woodstock, Ill.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Feb. 16-22, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

This is the second consecutive NACC weekly honor for Deputy.

Defense --- Asher Deputy, Jr., G, Aurora University
Deputy, a junior goalie, led Aurora to a 15-14 win at Illinois Wesleyan, snapping Aurora's nine-game losing streak against the TItans. He finished the day with 16 saves while adding eight ground balls.

Offense --- Griffin Joas, So., A, Aurora University
Joas, a sophomore attack, led Aurora to a 15-14 win at Illinois Wesleyan, snapping a nine-game losing streak against the Titans. Joas had seven points on the day, scoring four goals and assisting on three more. He also had two ground-ball pickups in the winning effort.

Specialist --- Jack Whalon, Sr., FO, Benedictine University
Whalon, a senior faceoff specialist, lost just three faceoffs as Benedictine opened the season with a pair of victories. He was 6-of-8 on faceoffs and collected six ground balls in a 13-0 season-opening win over Augustana (Ill.). Whalon was dominant in the program's first-ever win over North Central (Ill.), finishing 14-of-15 of faceoffs with 12 ground balls as the Eagles scored a 6-5 victory.
