Jacob Klitzke (Shiocton, Wis.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 6-12, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.
This is the third consecutive NACC outdoor track and field weekly honor for Klitzke and the second in a row for McPeak.
Men's Field --- Jacob Klitzke, Jr., St. Norbert College
Klitzke, a junior from Shiocton, Wisconsin, set a new school record in the hammer throw at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Invitational. His heave of 53.85 meters (176-8) placed fourth overall and currently ranks as the 34th-best throw on the NCAA Division III performance list. Klitzke also won the shot put (16.52m; 54-2 1/2) and took sixth in the discus throw (44.46m; 145-10).
Men's Track --- Sam McPeak, Jr., Milwaukee School of Engineering
McPeak, a junior from Dublin, Ohio, broke the MSOE school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, winning the event at the Marquette Invitational with a time of 9:18.63. That time currently ranks 17th on the NCAA Division III performance list.
Women's Field --- Kylee Doherty, Sr., Edgewood University
Doherty, a senior from Cross Plains, Wisconsin, won the javelin throw at the UW-Platteville Invitational with a throw of 43.46 meters (142-7). The winning throw marks the second-longest throw in program history. She added an eighth-place finish in the discus (40.11m; 131-7) and a 10th-place finish in the shot put (12.25m; 40-2 1/4).
Women's Track --- Ainara Sainz de Rozas, Sr., Concordia University Wisconsin
Sainz de Rozas, a senior from Madrid, Spain, shattered NACC and CUW records en route to the victory in the 5,000-meter run at the UW-Platteville Invitational. Her winning time of 16:17.01 currently tops the NCAA Division III performance list by over three seconds and erases the previous NACC record of 16:32.74 she set with a fourth-place finish at last year's NCAA Championships. It was Sainz de Rozas' first competition since CUW's home cross country meet in mid-September.
