MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Illinois Institute of Technology freshman Tanay Sharma (Ahmedabad, India) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of April 13-19, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

This is Sharma' third NACC weekly honor this season.

Sharma, a freshman, went 3-1 overall as Illinois Tech clinched its sixth NACC title in the last seven seasons with wins over Concordia Wisconsin and St. Norbert. He defeated CUW's Hayden Latus (7-5, 6-2) and St. Norbert's Brett Daniels (2-6, 6-3, 1-0 [8]) at No. 1 singles. Sharma paired with Alexander Feher to defeat CUW's Latus and Murilo Zeni, 6-4, at No. 1 doubles. The pair also dropped a 7-6 (6) decision to St. Norbert's Daniels and Charlie Keller.
