Aurora's Hogan, CUC's Jake Mahler Named NACC Baseball Student-Athletes of the Week

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Aurora University junior Conner Hogan (Shorewood, Ill.) and Concordia University Chicago senior Jake Mahler (Vernon Hills, Ill.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Baseball Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of March 30-April 5, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

This is the second NACC weekly award for Hogan this season.

Pitcher --- Conner Hogan, Jr., P, Aurora University
Hogan, a junior, tossed a complete-game shutout in a 10-0, seven-inning victory over Wisconsin Lutheran on April 4. He scattered three hits while striking out 10 without issuing a walk. Hogan also had two assists on defense to help his own cause.

Position Player --- Jake Mahler, Sr., 3B, Concordia University Chicago
Mahler, a senior third baseman, batted .615 while slugging 1.231 as the Cougars picked up three victories. He went 8-for-13 at the plate with eight RBIs and two home runs across the three contests. In an 8-7 win over Benedictine on March 30, Mahler hit home runs in consecutive at-bats to put CUC on the board and shift momentum in the contest. He followed that up with three hits in both halves of a doubleheader sweep of St. Norbert on April 4.
