MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Aurora University sophomore Thanpimol Tharpanawongwech (Bangplee, Thailand) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 1-6, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Tharpanawongwech, a sophomore, won medalist honors at the Carthage Firebird Fall Classic with a 36-hole total of 147. She fired an opening-round 80, then rebounded for a 5-under 67 in round two. Tharpanawongwech's second-round total set new NACC single-round records for aggregate score and score in relation to par. The old aggregate score record was a 70 (-1) posted by Muriel McIntyre of Concordia Wisconsin at the 2011 NAC Championships, while the old record for score in relation to par was 2-under-par (71) by CUW's Nina Puch at the 2015 UW-Whitewater Fall Classic. She also helped Aurora set a NACC-record 18-hole total of 295.
