MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Aurora University sophomore Izabella Kowalczyk (Lemont, Ill.) and Edgewood University junior Marina Hosticka (Oak Lawn, Ill.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 7-13, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Defense --- Marina Hosticka, Jr., MH, Edgewood University
Hosticka, a middle hitter, led Edgewood with 16 total blocks  and 10 digs across four contests as the Eagles posted a 3-1 mark. The junior posted three or more blocks in all four matches, including five blocks (one solo) against No. 6 UW-Eau Claire. In wins over Coe and St. Catherine, Hosticka posted four blocks - including one solo stuff - each. 

Offense --- Izabella Kowalczyk, So., PIN, Aurora University
Kowalczyk, a sophomore pin hitter, collected all-tournament honors for the second week in a row after a standout performance at the Franklin College Invitational as the Spartans improved to 8-2 overall. She opened her week with seven kills and 11 digs in a mid-week sweep of North Central (Ill.). At the Franklin Invite, Kowalczyk recorded 16 kills, six digs, three service aces, and two block assists in a 3-0 win over Alma. She then added nine kills and five digs in a 3-1 loss to Mount St. Joseph. Kowalczyk averaged 4.00 kills per set while hitting .400 overall during the week despite not playing in Aurora victories against Greenville or Eureka.
