MSOE's Baxter, Herting Named NACC Women's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Milwaukee School of Engineering sophomore Teya Baxter (Seattle, Wash.) and freshman Macie Herting (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 7-13, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Defense --- Teya Baxter, So., GK, Milwaukee School of Engineering
Baxter, a sophomore goalkeeper, logged 135 shutout minutes in goal last week. She posted a clean sheet with three saves in MSOE's 1-0 win over Gustavus Adolphus on Sept. 12, then logged three more saves while holding UW-River Falls scoreless in the first half of a 3-3 draw with the Falcons on Sept. 13. Baxter opened her week with three saves and one goal allowed while playing 45 minutes in the Raiders' 2-0 loss at UW-Oshkosh.

Offense --- Macie Herting, Fr., F, Milwaukee School of Engineering
Herting, a forward, has quickly begun to establish herself as one of the Raiders' best offensive playmakers. She recorded the Red and White's lone goal in a 1-0 shutout win over Gustavus Adolphus on Sept. 12. The freshman followed it up the very next day by recording the lone goal of the first half in the Raiders' 3-3 draw with UW-River Falls.
