MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Aurora University sophomore Josh McLellan (Calgary, Alta.) and Concordia University Wisconsin junior Lucas Beres (Germantown, Wis.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Feb. 26-March 3, 2024, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Offense --- Josh McLellan, so., OH, Aurora University
McLellan, a sophomore outside hitter, had a monster week for the Spartans who went 2-1 with a pair of 3-0 wins at Edgewood and against Rockford and a 3-2 loss to Dominican. In nine sets played, McLellan had 51 kills (5.67 per set) and hit .364 while collecting 6.06 points per set. 

In AU's five set loss to Dominican, McLellan set an Aurora record with 32 kills (32-6-66) and hit .394. In his one set played against Rockford he hit .583 (8-1-12).

Defense --- Lucas Beres, jr., MB, Concordia University Wisconsin
Beres, a junior middle blocker, had eight blocks in a three-set victory at Marian where he also hit .500. He then added three blocks (one solo) and two digs while hitting .467 in a sweep of Concordia Chicago.
