Kamdan Johnson (women's track) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Indoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Dec. 1-7, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.
Men's Field --- Jacob Klitzke, Jr., St. Norbert College
Klitzke, a junior from Shiocton, Wisconsin, won the shot put at the Ripon College Winter Open, throwing for a distance of 16.40 meters (53-9 3/4), which is the third best in the NCAA Division III ranks after the opening weekend. He also placed second in the weight throw with a heave of 15.34 meters (50-4).
Men's Track --- Jonathan Knoebel, Fr., Distance, Concordia University Chicago
Knoebel, a freshman from New Albany, Indiana, made his collegiate debut and broke the school record in the 600-meter dash with a time of 1:25.38 at the Olivet Nazarene Holiday Open, finishing two full seconds faster than the next runner. He also picked up a 24.16 time in the 200-meter dash.
Women's Field --- Eden Maranell, Jr., St. Norbert College
Maranell, a junior from Howards Grove, Wisconsin, piled up an NCAA Division III-leading 3,486 points in the pentathlon at the UW-Oshkosh Early Bird to set new Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and St. Norbert records. Maranell had the best score in four of the five events against a field of 12 competitors to win by 390 points over the runner-up. Her height of 1.63 meters (5-4 1/4) in the high jump is tied for the seventh-best in Division III while her 5.46 meters (17-11) in the long jump ranks 15th nationally.
Women's Track --- Kamdan Johnson, Fr., St. Norbert College
Johnson, a freshman from Florence, Wisconsin, set a new St. Norbert record in her first ever collegiate meet, winning the 60-meter hurdles in 9.09 seconds, eclipsing the previous record by 0.09 seconds. Her time is the top in the NACC and the 20th-best in Division III following the opening weekend.
