WLC's Broeckel Tabbed NABC Second Team All-American

MILWAUKEE, Wis. --- Wisconsin Lutheran College's Ryan Broeckel (Chilton, Wis.) has been named a Second Team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), the organization announced on Wednesday.

This marks the third straight NABC All-American honor for Broeckel, who was selected First Team in 2023-2024 and Third Team in 2022-2023. He becomes the first student-athlete in Warriors history to receive three consecutive postseason All-American honors.

Broeckel, who was recently named D3hoops.com Region VIII Player of the Year, D3hoops.com First Team All-Region VIII, and NABC First Team All-District VIII, was one of 10 players selected to the NABC Division III All-America Second Team.

The three-time Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Player of the Year averaged 18.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.8 blocks, and 1.7 steals per game. He ranks in the top 25 nationally in blocks (20th/27) and total rebounds (20th/270). Additionally, Broeckel topped all NACC players in field goals (210), field goal attempts (429), and offensive rebounds per game (3.26), and ranked second in blocks, double-doubles (11), points (560), and rebounds.

Broeckel finishes his WLC career as the all-time leader in rebounds (889) and blocked shots (175), and is eighth in scoring (1,698 points).
